Marvel Heroes is a strategy board game based on the charactes of Marvel Comics. Originally produced by Nexus, it was distributed by FFG who maintained support for it, for a short time. Unfortunately, for reasons that remain unknown (and heavily speculated on), the game was quickly dropped by FFG and no one has heard anything of it since. My girlfriend bought this game for me as a birthday present. She knows I love superheroes (more specifically, Spidey!) and it made for an excellent present. However, upon playing it, my friends and I were left feeling that the game had so much undeveloped potential. Because it was a present from my better half, I felt obliged to try and beat this game in to some kind of workable shape. The revisions I produced are pretty good but still need quite a bit of testing and implementation. I'd say that, with the downloads available here and at Board Game Geek, you are pretty much looking at a full Second Edition of Marvel Heroes. There is a fan space over my forum where I will manage an FAQ. Download the pack below and give me your feedback! I have done a lot of work on this game and recently revisited it. Following my experimentation with Talisman and my own projects, I have developed a much better understanding of the game design process. This led to the design and creation of my unofficial "Second Edition". There quite a few rules changes that come with the SE pack, so I also created a new Revision Pack (version 3) for those people who aren't interested in changing the game too much but simply want more material.
