05.07.2010 "Where do we go from here?"

Well 8 months between blog entries, that's not too bad, right? Right?

Anyway, I've been ridiculously busy for months now and my personal board game project "Stars & Spandex" is nearing completion. I've been working on it for about 2 years and during that time, it has been "nearing completion" many times, so trust me when I say, I'm not holding my breath...

That said, since re-acquainting myself with my old friend, Robert, we've been a veritable tour de force and this time, I can be a bit more confident about "nearing completion" this time round. I'm currently on version 11.4 of the rules and quite, quite tired of re-writing them.

UPDATES:

- added R Hammond's D&D 4th Edition / Earthdawn Conversion Notes

- added "Houses of the Landsraad" a DUNE roleplaying game using ORE

- added "Battlestar Galactica" Razor Expansion

- added "Battlestar Galactica" Photoshop templates

16.11.2009 "A Fresh Start..."

Well what do we have here? A new look website? That's about the long and short of it.

The old hosting service was...well...let's say that it was cheap and nasty. With significant downtime for both the website and my e-mail account (add in the fact that my each of my family members has their own personal mailboxes on that account ) it became increasingly annoying.

So I bit the bullet and bought more expensive (and hopefully more reliable) hosting for my domain, mailboxes and website.

Fingers crossed that all those problems are soon to be non-existent!

While I was changing server, I decided to give the ol' website a face-lift. It is much lower tech and, given that my HTML skills are relegated to Dreamweaver, unimpressive. But as long as it loads up quickly and doesn't look like a dog's dinner, it'll be ok, right?

Right?
